This is a large stone with a hole in it that sits in the entrance to this Irish pub in Missoula. I tried some soup called Colcannon which is the usual Irish mixture of potatoes and chicken and cream and cabbage. It was very good.
I also ordered an appetizer said to be Irish spring rolls. This turned out to be 3 large rolls divided in half and stuffed with cabbage and corned beef and some really hot spices. This was surrounded by some pastry a little thick and tough. It was good but not great, and too much for one person.
I was on my way to the Mustang-Osprey baseball game so I did not sample the Guiness which I am sure was good. This place looks like it could be a winner.
There really is a large stone somewhere on the south coast of Ireland.
